AAUW Supports 5 funds

Did you know that AAUW has 5 funds that it supports?  We have long supported mainly the 2 oldest funds in AAUW, the EF (Educational Opportunities) fund and the LAF (Legal Advocacy Fund) in AAUW.  However, four years ago AAUW reorganized its funds and we now have 5 funds to support.  Below are the funds that need support from AAUW members.

Our branch made a decision to continue to support the Educational and Legal components of AAUW Funds in our fundraising efforts.  However, there may be some of you who are interested in supporting our research efforts (Eleanor Roosevelt Fund) or our efforts with connecting with and developing student leaders (Leadership Programs Fund) in an effort to keep AAUW mission relevant to future women leaders.  Some may also wish to keep our mission for women and girls in the public eye and support out Public Policy Fund.  All Funds are fully tax deductible.  We encourage you to visit the national AAUW website and learn more about AAUW and its programs at http://www.aauw.org.  Alice Laudon
